The Vintage Tribal Art Retailers Connection (ATADA), was founded in 1988, by several independent classic tribal art retailers to form a specialist association of retailers that could provide education for the general public and set specifications for the trade. They accepted that tribal and ethnographic fine art had reached an even of specialization within other art domains and were worried by the quantity of misidentified and pastiche materials on the marketplace. Members offer purchasers a warranty that things they sell are as symbolized regarding era, authenticity and level of restoration.
